My first day of teaching is tomorrow. I can't believe that it is finally here. Today, we had supply drop off where each student brought in their supplies. I loved it because it was a whole family function. In America, you might have one parent come with the child. In Mexico, the whole family comes...brothers, sisters, dads, moms, cousins...it was great. Every parent was very supportive and offered to help for anything I needed in the classroom. I feel like that's a good representation of the type of school I am at: well supported and has a great community.
I'm nervous for tomorrow but I just want to get my feet wet and start teaching! Please pray that all goes well! Much love!
