How do we make our marriage outward focused?
It's a question we've been asking ourselves. How do we stop thinking about ourselves and focus on serving those around us? We both have different dreams, different things that make us feel passionate, different ideas about life. Yet, we're joined together in marriage and we love Jesus. We want to make a difference together. But how?
It's a lingering question. It's one that won't leave our hearts. We want the answer to it. Looking back on my blog posts over the past five years, God has called me to a crazy story. From Mexico to South Africa to DSST, I don't doubt God is at work. He's asked us to do crazy things and we've listened.
Yet in our second year of marriage, how do we join our past passions of travel, serving, teaching, and loving in a way that truly makes our marriage shine? We want the answers. We want to know.
Jesus, help us know the answer to this.
